DISABLED SERVICEMEN'S GIFT FOR PRINCESS
WELLINGTON, Sept. 12. . A wedding present for Princess Elizabeth is to be made by disabled servicemen employed by the Disabled Servicemen's Re-establish-ment League. It was announced at a meeting of the Dominion executive of the league that the Princess will receive paua shell and gold earrings and a necklace and brooch contained in a. jewel case of New Zealand woods, and also; a solid leather travelling case made at the Dunedin centre of the league. Mr. J. I. Gplc|smith, of Wellington, was re -elected president of the league unopposed. It was decided to support the els.im of the Napier committee for the erection of a perman'ent training centre for Hawke's Bay.
