ALLIED TROOPS WITHDRAWING FROM ITALY

Received Friday, 9.45 a.m. ROME, Sept. 11. The Acting Supreme Allied Commander in the Mediterranean, Lieut.-General Lee, announced that the withdrawal of the British and American troops from Italy begins tomorrow. General Lee said the Allied forces will leave the Margan Line, between the Anglo-American and Yugoslav zones on September 15, when the Anglo-American troops will also evacuate the whole area, which is passing under Yugoslav eontrol. Italian border guards will move up to the new boundary on September 14. The iast British and American troops will have left by December 14, the date set for the final evacuation.
