Personal , Mrs. L. G. Gimblett, who been on holiday in the north, returned to Otaki on Tuesday night. Saturday's Football Two matches will be played at Otaki on Saturday when the OtakiRahui third and fourth grade players will meet teams from Petone. The first match starts at 1 p.m. and the second at 3 p.m. A collection will be taken up to defray expenses. On arrival the visitors will be given lunch at Raukawa, while at the conclusion of the day's games they will be entertained at a dinner in the Anglican Hall. Children's Party A very jolly children's plam and fancy dress party was held in the Parish Hall recently, organisedby All Saints' Ladies' Guild. The hall was decorate^ with flags and the stage, used as seating accommodation for the adults, was banked with flowers and greenery. An energetic committee, under Miss Holmes, had arranged a varied programme of games and competitions with the assistance of Mrs. Tews at thg.piano, and these were thoroughly enjoyed by the large number of children, most of whom were in fancy dress. A delicious tea, always the highlight of a children's party, was ■served during the afternoon.
