RAIN EXPERIMENT FAILS
Received Wednesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 9. English attempts to copy the Australian and American experiments foi creating artificial rain failed for lack of. cumulus clouds. An Avro Anson earrying dry ice searched vainly for 90 minutes over the Midlands followed by two other planes eanying" Ministry of Agriculture and meteorologieal officials, chemists and reporters. The Anson, on the way home, dropped its cargo on a eloud formation without result.
