U.S. NAVY IN MEDITERRANEAN TO STAY

Received Wednesday, 11 a.m. ROME, Sept. 9. Admiral Bernard H. Bieri, commander of the U'nited States naval force in the Mediterranean, told a correspondent of the newspaper Momentasera that the American Fleet is in the Mediterranean to stay. It will continue the closest co-operation with the Royal Navy and will continue to navigate Italian waters and other waters even after the signing of the German Feace Treaty.
