BRITAIN BUYS FROM GERMANY
Received Tuesdav, 7 p.m. LOXDOX, Sept. 9. Reports froin Gennany state that Britain was Gennany 's i )est eustonier at the Hanover trade fair which ended last week. Britain spent more than £1,000, 000 011 textiles, haberdashery, prec-ision instrunients and heavy macliinery in addition to dresses and coats. Delivery for most of the goods was promised in a few months. The Gennans also did good business with Holland, Sweden, Demnark, Yugo slavia, Belgiuin and Hwitzerland. More than a-cpiarter of the total business was done by the vehiele industry and the biggest orders wero for trueks and trao tors.
