SATURDAY NIGHT FIRE
Due to a defective chimney, fire broke out in the residence of Mr. and Mrs. A. Third, Senr., in Vance Street, at about 10.15 p.m. on Saturday night. Although no extensive damage was done by the fire, which was quickly brought under control; some damage was caused by water. Shortly after the alarm was sounded the brigade was on the scene.
