PRECAUTIONS TAKEN AGAINST DEMONSTRATIONS
Received Monday, 10.30 a.m. JERUSALEM, Sept. 7. A 72-hour general alert for the army and police in Palestine beg&i at dawn today as a precautiop against the threatened demonstrations against the landing of the Jews at Hamburg. The Jews have palled a general strike between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time tomorrow.
