Since thej phenomenal demand which created an all time peak on Tuesday, tne load has not decreased a great deal, said Mr. R. A. Frederixson, managing secretary to the Horowhenua Eleculc Power Board, in a statement yesterday. On Tuesday the load had exCeeded 6000 k.w. This was well above the quota for the district. The officiais are hoping for milder weather to relieve tne heavy load.
