Are They Pillaged? Outspoken comment on the actions of some wholesale and retail firms was made in a report to the Auckland Chamber of Commerce by one of its sub-commit-tees on cargo pillaging. The committee had found that firffis were purehasing goods for cash from salesmen with no office or business addresses and "they must, therefore, be aware that the articles are stolen."
