MYSTERY OF SKELETONS FOUND IN CAVE

Received Tuesdav, 7.0 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 2. The discovery of the skeleton of a second man buried in a . cave close to that in which a skeleton was recently discovered on the slopes of Ingleborough liill, Yorkshire, is reported. Tliis discovery was also made by trampers. Bones were seen prior to the discovery of the first skeleton but were not reported as they were thought to be those of an animal. On reading reports of the discovery of tne first skeleton, however, two men returned to the eavern and brought bacx a legbone for identilication. Both skeletons were found in passages which form part of « tlie fhmous "gaping hole", a sei'ies of underground caverns. The second skeleton was lying at the foot of a 3(50 feet shaft. The police have now cordoned oif the whole area.
