PLAY IN CHAMPIONSHIPS Further matches in the Otaki Golf Club's 1947 cliampionships were played on Saturday. Conditions were quite good, though. a strong hreeze called for aecurate hitting. On Sunday the Buckley Club visited Otaki for the annual match between the two clubs. After a very interesting afternoon's play, Otaki, displaying the advantage of local knowledge, emerged the winners by 25 games to six, with five games all £quare.
