FRONTIERSMEN GATHER

INCREASE IN MEMBERSHIP REPORTED Frontiersmen from Woodville, Palmerston North and Parapararaumu were among the visitors at the quarterly meeting of N. Squadron, held on Saturday night in the R.S.A. rooms. Squadron Leader, Captain Honare, presided. Commissioner Hyde was presenfc and gave the frontiersmen a brief account of the activities of other squadrons in the Dominion. He said he was very pleased to note that the membership thrOughout New Zealand had risen considerably, which boded well for the future. Mention was made of the Dominion conference of frontiersmen, which will be held next year in Palmerston North. It is expeeted to be the largest gathering of frontiersmen for many years, and N. Squadron, under Captain Honare will have the task pf assisting in the organisation of the conference.
