The' secret route is to prevent sabotage attempts by the Germans. British Military Goverhment oificiais, usihg loudspeakers, will appeal to the Jews to land peacefully. Two hundred British troops will stand by in'case jf trouble. Unarmea troops will meet the ships and tear gas will be .ised only as a last resort to force the Jews ashore.
