HABAN1 (Rhodesia), August 27. Reginabl Stc-phen Garlicld Todd, a New Zeaiander, was today acquitted 011 eharges of lieating native girls at Dadaya Mission, where he is the super intendent. Todd told the Court that 1 corporal punishment was better thau expulsion for native girls wlio went on strike. None. of tlie girls' parents liatl complained.
