DUTCH REPORT FIGHTING ON ALL FRONTS
Received ATonday, 10.40 p.m. BATAVTA, August 25. Fighting 011 all fronts in .Java. Sumatra and Aladura was reported '111 today 's Dutch Army coniniunique. Roving bands of the Republican Army an.l salioteurs were still as active as ever. Netherland 's posts and patrols unrlergoing constant liring. Every where strong clearing actions were carried out. The heaviest fighting was reported from tlie Salatiga front in Central Java (on Aladura Tsland) close to Sourabaya and at Sukabuini and south of Oheribon, West Java. A11 Tndian Dakota prominently marked with red crosses 011 the wings arid tail arrived at Singapore from lndia carrying three Indian doctors and medical supplies for the relief of tlie Indonesian si-'k and wounilel. The aircraft will leave for Jogjakarta, the Dutch and Indonesian authorities guaranteeing safe conduct.
