EX-SERVICE TRAINEES' WORK ON HOUSING
-eAt tlie end of June ex-servicemen trainees from tlie Rehabilitation Board s trade t rain ing centres comjn'ised 43 per cent. of the artisan force employbd 011 >State liouse buiiding in New Zealand, says a statement from the ReliabiJitat'ion Board. At that date trainees liad completed the constructional work and mueh of the finishing work on 712 liouses and were engagea in the buiiding of another 953. The total nuniber of State houses under construction at the end of June was 3574 on which- 4550 artisans and labourers were engaged.
