Reeeived Thursday, 10.50 p.m. MADRID, August 21. A death roll between 5000 and 6000 in the Cadiz explosions is feared by officials, says the British United Press correspondent. Army sappers are digging' through the huge piles of rubbie and fire-blackened ruins under which the bodies of many victims are still buried. Queues of weeping people are filing. through the mortuaries trying7 to identify the dead. One hundred and thirteen victims were given a mass burial yesterday and a further 200 , corpses await identification. Two thousand seriously injured are in the Cadiz and neighbouring hospitals. The telephone and lighting services are now functioning again but the water is being distributed by carts and lorries.
