FIRST CAR RACES SINCE WAR IN ISLE OF MAN

Reeeived Friday, 10.15 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 21. The first motor-car races in the Isle of Man since the war were held today. B. Bira (Prince Biranbonagse of Siam), driving a Mascrati, won the Manx Cup of 46 \ miles in 42 mins. 17 secs. His average speed was 66.5 m.p.h. E.R.A. cars filled the first four places in British Empire trophy races. F. R. Gerard won with an average speed of 68.02 m.p.h.
