OTAKI BOWLING CLUB

A meeting of the committee of the Otaki Bowling Club was held on Tuesday night, Mr. W. Wilson presiding. On account of pressure of work Mr. L. Walsh was relieved of his duties on the refreshment committee, and Mr. E. T. Bartosh was appointed in his stead. It was reported that the trip of the delegates to Palmerston North on green research work had proved profitable, and that as a result good work should be accomplished. It was decided to again take part in Country Pennant matches, and to apply for permission to hold a one-day tournament on the first Saturday in Febru&ry. It was also decided to invite . mernbers of the centre to visit Otaki during the coming season. It was reported that the green was in first class condition, and that the servery at the pavilion had been lined. It was agreed that further work be carried out on the green and it was hoped that mernbers would assist.
