HOW CEASE FIRE IS OBSERVED
Received Tuesdav, 8.40 p.m. BATAYIA, August 19. Dutch casualties since the cease flret order have risen to 52 killed, 142 wounded and one niissing, reports a Dutch conmiunipue. These are now more than two-thirds of the total Netherlands casualties during hostilities which Logan on July 21. The eommunique reports further clashes in J ava and Suniatra, including considerable military activity on the roads leading to Central Java. Eepubliean attaeks on the southeast, of Salitaga, - Central Java, were driven ol'f with severe casualties.
