STRAY DOG NUISANCE
COUNCIL DECIDES TO ACT ON REGULATIONS In an endeavour to combat the stray dog nuisance in the business area of Levin, the Levin Borough Council last night decided to enforce the borough by-laws and certain sections under the Dog Registration Act. The details of the council's powers under these regulations will be advertised soon, as s'ome modification may be necessary to-the bylaws, and the borough overseer will be instructed to iinpound all dogs found unattended in the area concerned.
