Burglary in Otaki Mr. Eric Tooby's business premises at Otaki Railway were burglariously entered at about 8.30 o'clock last night. Entrance was gained by breaking a window, after which a door was openea. A few shillings and two mctor tyres were taken. Gift to Otaki Mr. Hast, of Otaki, intends to present to the Otaki Borough Council, a photograph of Captain Smith, commander of the ship Otaki, which met the Moewe in battle, together with a report of the fight. The gift will be fully appreciated. x Pension Payments Old age pensions will be paid out at the Otaki Post Office on Tuesday next, invalids and widows on the 20th, war pensions on the 21st, and wai- veterans on the 28th.
