Referee Resigns
That he'had resi'gned from the Referees' Association and that last Saturday's game was the last that he would be refereeing was indi\ated last night by Mr. F. G. Carrington, in the course of his report on the game between Bush and Horowhenua, to the Horowhenua Rugby Union's management committee. No further explanation was given by Mr. Carrington, Though that part of the report was not the direct coneern of the union, he hoped that Mr. Carrington could be prevailed upon to recon"ider his decision, said the president, Mr. A. Gillespie, when recordmg appreciation of the referee's service.
