WINTRY CONDITIONS FOR PLAY ON SATURDAY
The thircl qualifying round of the Levin Golf Club's championship was played on Saturday - under winter conditions, only 21 players eompleting their rounds. Tiie Cooksley trophy for the two best nett rounds was won by M. C. Wilson with the fir.e score of 141. A. Clark was second with 144. The rnedal round, played in conjunction with "the qualifying round, resulted in three players returning nett 73's. As none of the three were present at the nineteenth, the toss of the coin will have to wait until next Saturday. Detailed scores were as follows: — W. H. Walker 93—20—73, J. Todd 90—17—73, H.
