Unique Stamp

An Auckland dealer recently discovered a very old New Zealand two-penny blue stamp of the 1862 to 1864 issue among a batch of other old stamps of r.o" great value. The envelope bears a Wellington postmark of May 4, 1862. Specialists claim that it has a "Y roulette" perforation which makes it the only one of its kind known to them, though others -in Ihe series are known and valued at £30 to £40. This stamp could raise a price of up to £200. Or the inside of the envelope is the draft of a letter by the receiver emphatically refusing to give his consent to the marriage of his sister to someo'ne ' who was a stranger to him, stating: "My sister is in full agreement."
