MONTHLY SITTING IN OTAKI The August, sittihg of the Magis-a-ate's Cpurt was held in Otaki on Thursday. Mr. A. M. Gouiding, S-.M., presided. * ' Mervyn Ferguson was charged with nding a motor-eycle in a manner wnich might have been dangerous. The court was toid thau defendant. who had a passenger he was taking to Wanganui, was sitting on the petrol iank of.1 the machine. He was oiiiy traveilirg at from 30 to 35 m.p.h.,. but haa poor control of the motorcycie. A flne of £2, wiuh 12s costs, was imposed. Opera ing an unregistered trailer cost Roberu Goode £1, with 12s costs. Jimmie Hakaraia, Ahitaki BLhop, j Jack Winter ourn, Wmg Sing and Eiieen Ransfield were tach charg- . ed with allowing a' horse to war - der._ Inspector Davis proseeuted. Wing was fbied 15s, with 11s cosis, while the others each paid a penal y of 10s, with 10s costs. Civil Cases Judgment was entered in the j followmg civil cases: W. H. Hebden - (Mr. B. H. Rhodes) v.
