HEPBURN'S SLACKS
Millions of girls who wear slacks today can thank Katharine Hepburn, who, with the possible' exception of Marlene Dietrich, has done mere than any other star to popularise slacks for women. Hatharine's slacks are no passing fad. The M.-G.-M. star has been wearing them practically since she has been able to -valk. Clothes haye never been important to her, and as a child she often wore her brothers' cast-off denims — years ! before these homely garments ■ at ained fashion prominence.
