OTAKI'S RAINFALL
The total rainfall in Otaki for the month of July was 3.49 inches. Rain fell on fourteen days, the highest fall being 1.64 inches on the 17th. ! Snow fell on the ranges on three occasions, while there were thirteen frosts. There was cairn at 9.30 a.m. on nineteen days. Nearly all the rainfall occurred at night. The weather an the whole was mild. For July of last year the rainfall was 3.31 inches, with thirteen rain days. ____________
