CIVIC THEATRE
T1IURSDAY AND FRIDAY In "Night Invader," starring Ann Crawford and David Farrer, secret service men seek German invasion plans. . . . An exciting action-full story paying tribute to the unseen un-sung heroes of the Secret Servfce. The second attraction, "Trocadero," starring Rosemary Lane and Johnny Downs, is one of the most original and refreshing musical divertisements to come out of Hollywood in many moons. Too often in musicals the plot is a flimsy, make-shift device to Till in between songs. This is definitely. not the case in "Trocadero" for although there is an abundance of sparkling music, no apologies need be made for the plot, which is a cleverlyconstructed show-case for the spectacular parade of musical fare which the picture offers.
