The Public Debt of New Zeala'nd at March 31 laSt was £540,598,993 accordiiig to the report of the Public Debt Commission presented in the Hoilse of Representatives yesterday. The amount of debt repaid of redeemed ih the 1946-47 finahcial year was £7,170,308, and since 1925, £41,595,680.
