EXPLOSION IN VIENNA HOTEL OCCUPIED BY BRITISH
Received Tuesday, 10.20 a.m. VIENNA, Aug. 4. Fire bombs exploded in the basement of Sacher's Hotel, now used l as a transient hotel for highranking British officers. An official statement says that the damage was slight and no one was injured. A spokesman for Brigadier D. C. Hoshaw was unwilling to assign ahy fedsori for the ekplosioh, but' admitted that Jewish terrorist orgSriisations had threatened attac'ks on British installations over six months ago. The bombs, which were of the suitc'ase type, appeared to have been lowered into the basement through a chute.
