BRITAIN TO MAKE CUTS IN BUTTER AND MEAT
LONDOIV, AllgUSt 1. Meat, Butter, grain and tinned goods are among the food imports to he drastically cut before the end of the year, says the Daily Telegraph's political correspondent. Clothes rationing will become severer and more coupons will be required for almost all articles of dress. The basic petrol ration will also be cut and the amount of sterling holidaymakers are ailowed to take„ out of the country reduced from £75 to £25.
