Received Friday, 12.42 a.m. JERUSALEM, July 31. The bodies of the two British sergeants, Martyn and Paice, have been found lianging froin a tree in a wood three iniles southeast oi' Nathanya, states an official announcenient. Reuter 's cori'espondent in Jerusalem says a number of British troops were injured when mines laid around the grove eontaining the bodies, exploded. The Associated Press correspondent reports that when the first body was being cut down a boobytrap ex])loded blowing pieces of the bodies of the two sergeants over a wide area. Oue British soldier was seriously injured. Xoar the tree on which the Sergeants wero hangeYl were copies of the "charges" of which the Irgim found them guilty. The diseoverv of the bodies followed a message which Oved Ben Ami, Mayor of the coastal town of Nathanya, told the poliee he had received I'roin the Irgun Zvai Leumi last niglit. This said: "You will find the bodies of Sergeants Paice and Martyn tomorrow in the area which paratroops combed today." This rel'cn-ed to a wooded coastal plain southeast of Nathanya — the area where the bodies were found. The Irgun Zvai Leumi added that the sergeants were exeeuted, for among other things, "spving on Jews while vearing eivilian clothing. "
