HOCKEY CLUB MEETS

A meeting of the Rahui Ladies' Hockey Club was held ar Mr. Browne's shop. The club decided to enter a team for the competition. The colours are to be red gyms, white blouses and biue rnonograms. Mr. Fannin reported that the ground at the rear of the Siate houses was taking" shape and it was hoped to play., a few games there this year-. Mr. A. Webby was elected delegate to the association with Mr. Fannin. There were also two vacancies on the social committee and Mrs. McLeod and Miss June Te Tau were elected. Mr. Les. Murphy had been written to and asked to arrange a match with a Wellington Club. No answer had yet; been received.
