Dr. Alfred Blalock, the world 's lead ing specialist in the treatment of "blue babies, " has advised the Hutt Rotary Club that he is willing to permit a New Zealand surgeon to study the operation under hinf at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore. Dr. Blalock 's letter received today, was in rejyly to a request from the Hutt Rota|y Club that a New Zealand surgeon be nermitted to study under him so that ' rdue baby" operations could be performed in New Zealand. The Rotary Club, an official said today, w7ould now mdertake an energetie campaign to raise the necessary funds to enable an eminent NeW Zealand surgeon to aeeept the invitation.
