Youth on Theft Charge Charged with breaking and entering and theft, Anthony David Geor, 19, pleaded guilty in the Magistrates' Court, Napier, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Geor, an apprentice fitter employed by the Vulcan Foundry Co., was alleged to have stolen on July 11, an electric motor and a petrol motor valued at £40. Masterton Licensing The Bill setting.up the Masterton Liquor Trust will come before the House of Representatives shortly, perhaps before the Budget, which ' is due on Thursday week, August 7. The Bill will lay down the method of electing the members of the Trust Board. . Unlike the members of the Invercargill Trust, who are nominated by local bodies, members of the- Masterton Board will be appcinted by direct vote. Meat Board Jubilfee The silver jubilee of the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board occurs this year. To mark the occasion the board has-set out a review of its history in its 25th annual report to be presented to the annual meeting of delegates constituting the eiectoral committee, which will be held in Wellington on August 28 and 29. This year the producers' representatives due to retire are Messrs. G. H. Grigg (who is chairman), F. C. Johnstone and W. W. Mulholland. All offer themselves for re-election.
