Eeceived Wednesday, 8.5 p.m. SYDNEY, July 30. While operating an oxvacetyleuc torch in the grounds of a factory in the suburb of Rosebery today, an olderly man was killed by a mysterious explosion. The man was nsing the torch to cut a stecl cylinder nine inches in dianieter. The explosion, whie.li was hoard a quartcr of a niile away, blew off botli liis legs and ' caused ot hei shocking injuries. An' inspection re vealed that 110 explosion had occurren in llio oxyacetylone cylinders and thai the cylinder he was working on was open at both ends.
