Band Contest Profit
Almost a year after it began to function, the committee whieh organised last February's natio'nal bands contest has wound up its affairs. It has announced a profit from the contest of £1200, of whieh £50 will go to the New Zealand Brass Bands' Association, and . the remaihder divided equally among the competing bands.
