COMMUNISTS THREATEN LIFE OF EX-COMRADE
Received Sunday, 9,50 p.m. MONTREAL, July 20. J. S. Sullivan> who resign ed the presidenc.y of the Canadian Seamen 's Union on March 15, issued a statement today alleging that the entire union leadership eonsisted of members of the Canadian Communist Party and all Communist activity in Canada vyas directed from Moscow. ■ After tlie statement • was released Sullivan asked for police protection because "the Communist Party as a whole is out -to get me. " He added that his liffi had been threatened several times in reeent weeks.
