WELLINGTON, July 25. On a eliarge of stealing ten ions of wire from the Governmeut, LeonardJames Thompson Ross, company manager, agecl 43, was found guilty by a jury in the Bupreme Court, Wellington, today. On a joint charge of theft of wire against Ross and a second accused, JMartin Anthony Tahev, clerk, aged 45, and a further cha'rge against Ross oi' receivihg vcrdicts of not guilty were returned. The Chief Justice (Sir • Humphrey 0 'Lcary) discharged hahey and remhnded Ross until Tuesday for sentenee.
