Hawke's Bay in a representative match at Hastings on Saturday. In a recent match for the ' Porangahau Club, Doug. Fuller was reported to be the outstanding player on the field. Playing first : five-eighths, Fuller, who is still in i his 'teens, showed plenty of speed on the attack and penetrated well, . as well as tackling properly and ftnding the line at the right time. - Given another year or two he will develop into a first class goal i kicker. In the match reported he scored all of his team's ten points, kicking two penalty goals and pot- • ting a field goal.
