TRANSPORTING MILK BY TANK WAGON
WELLINGTON, July 23. An innovation. for New Zcaland in the transport of bullc niilk, is to begm early next year when part of Wdiiuglon's milk supply will be brou^ht frcin the country by tank wagons. The general-manager of the Wellington City Corporation Milk Department, Mr. E. L. Bcnsemau, said today that the syslem liad been operating iucccss fully for some ycars in purts of Avstralia. It was found that tanker transport eiiminated much of the wastage of single can delivery. It was quieker and less costly.
