Personal Mr. T. V. Cahill is again in hospital in Wellington. , Among the nurses who obtained passes in the State maternity examinations was Miss Imelda Agnes Delahunty, of Otaki. Mr. Ian Wilson, who has been on the Otaki Railway stafi for some time, has left on transfer to Otane, carrying with him the best wishes of Ifis many friends. On Tuesday evening, at the residence of the stationmaster (Mr. Davies) , Mr. Wilson was entertained by the staff, when a very enjoyable evening was spent, all testifying to the excellent qualities of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson. The former, it was stated, had provided a most eourteous and efficient officer, and his departure was regretted. Messrs. Davies, Condon, H. Watts, Brooks and Jenkins, all spoke of the capabilities and popularity of Mr. Wilson, after which a presentation was made. Mr. Wilson suitably responded, saying that it was with regret that he was leaving behind so many friends. Mrs. Wilson also carries with her the best wishes of a large circle of friends. H. and D. Society A meetrng of the committee of the Ot^ki H. and D. Society, to have been held on* Tuesday night, was allowed to lapse on account of the president and other members of the committee being absent from town.
