Under Repair Workmen are busily engaged m carrying out repairs to the Municipal Buildings. It is hoped that as soon as the work is completed a start will be made on the painting of the buildings. New Vet. Arriving Soon At the annual meeting of the Shannon Veterinary Club, held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Dairy Company on Saturday afternoon, members . were advised that the club hoped to secure the services of Mr. Fox, a veterinary surgeon due to arrive from Erigland at the end of this month. It is anticipated that Mr. and Mrs. Fox will take up residence in the house provided by the Dairy., Company, and that Mr. Fox will be ready to commence his duties in the first- week in August. *
