NEW ZEALAND FLAG' TO FLY IN FRANCE

Received Monday. 7 p.m. LONDON, Juiy, 21. A New Zealand flag has been pre sented by Mr. W. J. Jordan to tho Mayor of - Aix-les-Bains, France, for display during the annual ceremony on Empire Day, May 24, by the statue of Queen Victoria. Tt replaees the flag lost during the war. Queen Victoria used to be a regular visitor to this French town and her statue was hidden during the war. Tt was recently re-ereeted and re-dedi-cated. Mr. Jordan said he was glad to know that New Zealand was represented at the ceremony. The Mayor expressed the hope that manv people from the Dominion would visit the town.
