COMING-OF-AGE PARTY
FEST1V1TY AT MANGAORE To celebrate the coming-of-age of their eldest son, Colin, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Campbell held a weekend house party at their Mangaore home. Colin's two brothers, lan land Graeme, came from Wellington for the occasion and among the visitors were Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Bell and family, Mrs. M„ G. Latta and family (relatives) , Misses Ann Rant, Margaret Abott and Denzil Cartqr, of Wellington, Miss Willis, Michael, Gillian and .Jennifer Cole (Palmerston North) and Trevor Astwood (Wellington). Local friends journeyed out on Saturday evening and a jolly time was spent in playing progressive games, etc. Denzil Carter and Mick Moynihan won- the progressive games. Barber proposed the toast to the guest of honour's parents. Festivities were continued on Sunday when a dinner party for sixteen was held.
