VISIT OF WAIROA FOOTBALL TEAM
A meeting was held on Thursday night of representatives from the Otaki and Rahui Football Clubs to arrange for a reception to the Wairoa representative foo'ball team, which is to play at Otaki on August 19. Mr. C. Pussell presided. It was agreed that help should be accorded the Horowhenua Rugby Union towards ' expenses in connection with the visit of the team and with this in view it was agreed to hold a dance on Saturday night, August 16. Admission was fixed at 3s. Another meeting of the committee will be held on July 31.
