Messrs. Townsend and Paul, Ltd., fruit and produce merchants, Wellington, report that inclement weather during the past week has had an ulterior effect on values for most varieties. Smaller yardings of poultry have been offered, prime birds remaining steady, and if anything having a rising tendencv.
