Preparations For Threat of Fresh Invasion

Received Wednesday, 10.20 a.rp:-. ' ATHENS, July 15-.-Greek regulars : are t tr ying to encircle the guerrillas in the Kaipaki area, near Janina, according tQ the Ministry of Public Order. Army detachments rushed tq Kaipaki from Janma have occupied some heights, and other Government forces pushing uo fr^m south have reached the Vasiliko area, nqrthrwest of Kaipaki. • The Associated Press of Americ.p says that guerrilla forces are reported to be advancing towards Janina. The attackers apparently include ■ oart of the fqrce which attacked ' Konitza, and a new column which attacked • a small village twelve miles west of Janina last night. The "orce. striking downward along a small river, is apparently caught between a Greek Army unit which rein forced Konitza ar.d rekiforeements moving northward from Janina. Unconfirmed reports in Athens state that there is a nossibility of vnother invasion. Frontiers a'nd defences at,Florina' and Kasforia. both opposite the Yugoslav fron':ier, are being strengthened.
